1. Nginxとは

Nginxは2019年6月にシェア33%を持つWebサーバです。Apache web serverよりも軽量に動作する事から、シェアを伸ばしています。

2. Nginxのインストール

NginxのインストールはRHEL系であれば、yumを利用する事で簡単にインストールできます。
CentOS等のデフォルトリポジトリでは最新でないnginxのインストトールとなる事が多い為、今回は公式リポジトリに切り替えてインストールします。

yumツールのインストール

 $ sudo yum install yum-utils

リポジトリを追加(ファイル編集)

$ sudo vi /etc/yum.repos.d/nginx.repo
$ sudo cat /etc/yum.repos.d/nginx.repo
[nginx-stable]
name=nginx stable repo
baseurl=https://nginx.org/packages/centos/$releasever/$basearch/

nginxのインストール

$ sudo yum install nginx

起動設定とステータス確認

コンフィグテスト

nginxコマンドによるコンフィグテスト

 $ sudo nginx -t

自動起動設定、サーバ起動

サーバ起動時に自動でサービスを開始する様に設定する

 $ sudo systemctl enable

nginxの起動

$ sudo systemctl start nginx

ステータス確認(起動確認)

“Active:”がactive(running)になっていることを確認する

 $ sudo systemctl status nginx
● nginx.service - nginx - high performance web server
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: active (running) since Sun 2019-07-14 13:54:30 JST; 6s ago

バージョン確認

バージョン確認は、nginxの-vオプションから確認できます。
またnginxのバイナリファイルのパスは”systemctl status”コマンドから確認できます。

 $ /usr/sbin/nginx -V
